This year, SP Bowlers will be holding Singapore Polytechnic Invitational 2010 for all secondary schools.

Date: 27th March
Time: 9am to 5pm (check in time 830am)
Venue: Orchid Bowl @ Safra Yishun

This will be our fifth edition of our annual bowling open championships. All invitational letters has been sent out. Registration is now open.

This will be our forth edition of our annual bowling open championships. Registration is now open and you can download the files at the Registration section.

The third edition of Singapore Polytechnic Open Bowling Championships had concluded today at Orchid Bowl @ Safra Yishun with the participation of twenty-three teams from the Tertiary Level.

We have posted up the results of all winners for Secondary Schools at the 3rd Singapore Polytechnic Open Bowling Championship which was concluded today at Orchid Bowl @ Safra Yishun.

Once again, we would like to thank all secondary school bowlers that took part today and hoped that you had enjoyed yourself despite the low turnout. We will be glad to see you all again next year for our forth edition. [Notice] Updates

We will be giving a SMS reminder to all team captains two days prior to the event day and please do acknowledge upon receipt of the SMS.

Lastly, we are deeply regret to inform that there will be no lunch provided during this tournament for both days.

All participating schools and institutions, please do make you own lunch arrangements.

[Notice] Event Updates

Warm greetings and a Happy Chinese New Year.

We would like to update all participating secondary schools and tertiary institutions on the following:

We are experiencing an overwhelming response from the tertiary institutions but we are not going to deny anyone’s chance of participating in our event, as such, tertiary institutions who send in their teams from today till this Friday or latest next Monday, will roll-off on 16 February because we had maxed out the lanes on 23 February.
For secondary schools, we had acted on various secondary schools’ feedback on the entry fee, as such, the entry fee had been adjusted to $80.00 per team. Those schools who had paid the initial amount of $120.00 by cheque, we will be refunding back in CASH on the day of event upon checking in.
Tertiary institutions’ entry fee remains unchanged.
Lunch Catering is yet to be confirm for both days.

16 February 2008, Saturday – Secondary Schools

Check-in at 9.30am
Roll-off commencing at 10.00am for first block of 4 games for Doubles event
Lane Maintenance will commence when the last game is finished. During this period, all bowlers will be able to take their lunch*.
Roll-off for second block of 4 games for Team event will commence when the lane maintenance is completed. Announcement to be made by alley management.
Prize Presentation & Lucky Draw will be presented to all winners at the end of the day.

23 February 2008, Saturday – Tertiary Institutions

Same as above

*We are discussing at the possibility of catering food with Safra Yishun’s caterer for all participating bowlers and their school/institution in-charge if they are present.
